What happens at a Reiki Treatment?
Your Reiki Practitioner will ask you if you have received any form of healing previously. If you have not, they will explain what will happen.
A treatment can be conducted either seated or lying on a couch. Reiki is given to the client by the Therapist laying their hands on set positions of the body (having asked the client if they would like hands on or hands off prior to treatment commencing). The Universal Life Force Energy flows through the Practitioner's hands into the clients body. It flows to where it is needed. The client is fully clothed for this treatment, shoes are generally removed.
Some soothing music is sometimes used to aid the relaxation process.
Long treatments usually last 45-60 minutes with the client lying on a couch. Short treatments last approximately 20-30 minutes and are conducted with the client sitting in a chair.

If you are interested in learning Reiki, Julie can teach you by way of a series of Attunements to different levels of Reiki. You can learn to the level you want. Learn how to treat yourself, family members and others. You can progress to being able to teach Reiki yourself.
