Liz Flynn - B.A. (Hons), ITEC, MCThA

Liz has ITEC Diplomas in Reflexology, Anatomy, Physiology & Massage, Diet & Nutrition and Indian Head Massage. She also holds a Diploma in Spiritual Healing accredited by the Alliance of Healing Associations, and a certificate in Foundation Kinesiology from the Kinesiology Federation. Liz has been a professional complementary therapy practitioner in Exmouth for the last ten years, and has studied Reflexology to advanced levels (Precision and Meridian Reflexology). She continually keeps up to date with changes in the way Healing and Reflexology are currently taught as well as adding to her skills.
Liz also has a B.A. (Hons) Degree in Communication Studies and has designed and produced her own leaflets and website with husband, Nick (they also did the website for The Quiet Mind Centre). She also carries out occasional publicity and promotional work, on a voluntary basis, for The Quiet Mind Centre, where she volunteers as a healer one morning a week.

Specialities

Liz specialises in using Reflexology and Healing with the menopause, PMS, stress –related conditions, anxiety, mild to moderate depression, as well as many types of pain - including arthritis, sciatica, back and neck pain. People suffering from chronic complaints such as fibromyalgia or M.E./ CFS also benefit. Many clients also choose Reflexology to help balance and prepare their bodies for pregnancy. Healthy eating and Food and Mood advice is also on offer, with plenty of self-help tips to support treatments.

What to expect at a treatment session

Neither Reflexology nor Healing require you to remove anything apart from footwear and outerwear. Healing is carried out while lying on a couch. You will be guided through a body relaxation exercise first before receiving healing. You may fall asleep but it is more likely you will reach a calming meditative state where you are still aware of what is happening in your immediate environment, but are undisturbed by any noise, etc. Reflexology is carried out in a special relaxing chair with lots of cushions for your comfort. Many people fall asleep during a session!

Prices

Reflexology: £25 – first session includes free consultation. After that appointments last about an hour.
Healing: £20 for about 45 minutes.

Gift vouchers: available at £10 or £25 for Reflexology.

Appointments

Monday to Thursday from 2.30pm to 7.00pm (last appointment 6pm), and on Fridays from 10.00am to 5.30pm (last appointment 4.30pm).

Practising at

Mirasol, Exmouth, where free parking is available.

Home visits: available for Healing only at a small extra charge depending on the distance travelled.
