What is Kinesiology?
( pron kin- easy- ology) It is a non-invasive, holistic therapy using gentle muscle testing to detect imbalances in the body which can lead to common ailments. It looks beyond your symptoms to identify the root cause of your ailments.
What happens when I see a kinesiologist?
The first appointment lasts about 1hour during which a health history will be taken.

Clients will lie on a couch where gentle muscle testing will be used to identify imbalances in their body. A treatment plan will be found which can include:
the gentle massage of stimulation points located on the front and back of the body
dietary and nutritional suggestions including the drinking of more water, adding or removing foods from the diet,
taking supplements like vitamins and minerals as well as homeopathic remedies, herbs and flower essences.
Muscle testing
Gentle stimulation of points
Full supporting ‘ homework' notes will be given at the end of the session.
What to Wear?
Comfortable loose clothes. Only shoes and wrist jewellery need to be removed.
How many visits will you need?
Improvements can appear in 2-3 visits with most people feeling better after the first treatment. Follow up appointments are 50 minutes and are used to monitor treatment progress which can be adapted if necessary.Home visits are available for those unable to come to appointments. A small extra charge is usually made for this.
