Rachel trained for 5 years with the International Register of Consultant Herbalists, a long established body aiming to promote the use of traditional western herbal medicine as a safe, natural and effective treatment for a vast range of conditions. Her training included areas such as nutrition and naturopathy as well as herbal medicine.
The first consultation will last approximately one hour where I will take a full case history in order to assess your overall health, as well as looking for the underlying cuases for any existing health complaints. At this time I will make any dietary or other suggestions that may be relevant to you regaining and maintaining health. In most cases your prescription will be in the form of a herbal tincture, specific to you and your health, to be taken as directed with a little water.
Follow up consultations range from between two to four weeks apart and will be about half an hour long. During your treatment the herbs in your medication will change to reflect your progress.
